The Desert Hills Thunder tipped the host Cottonwood Colts basketball team by a final score of 49-48 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Thunder face the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 26. Desert Hills will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 16-7 record after their 64-40 non-league win over Jordan (Sandy, UT).

With the defeat, Cottonwood moves to 17-7 on the year.
