West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County triumphant over Frankfort
February 22, 2025: Ridgeley, WV 26753 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) and the host Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV), observed Lewis County's basketball team overwhelm Frankfort by a score of 99-55.
The Minutemen (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies come into the Big Ten challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, North Marion was routed by Elkins (Elkins, WV), 45-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) in a Potomac Valley AA challenge, on Wednesday, February 26. Frankfort will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 58-49 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, WV).
