The Franklin Lions overwhelmed the visiting Kerens Bobcats softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Leopards go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).

The Bobcats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Ennis toppled Arlington (Arlington, TX), 15-4, in a non-league challenge.
