Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool Paladins (Slidell, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fort Worth THESA Riders (Fort Worth, TX), 49-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Riders play the Red River Rattlers (Gainesville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Fort Worth THESA will attempt to upgrade on its 19-19 season record. The Rattlers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Fort Worth THESA (Fort Worth, TX).
