In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Brownstown Central Braves basketball team scored a good 54-36 triumph over the Floyd Central Highlanders.

The Braves (19-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, New Albany topped Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN), 72-56, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 26.
