Fans at Monday's non-league test between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC), witnessed Pinecrest's lacrosse squad top Seaforth by a count of 19-8.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Broughton thwarted Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 15-4, in a non-league test.

Next, the Hawks battle the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Seaforth will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 1-0 record after their 16-10 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
