Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), saw North Mecklenburg's basketball squad wallop Asheville by a tally of 86-53.

With the victory, North Mecklenburg improves its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 22-5. Watauga won 76-34 in their recent non-league challenge against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
