The Sahuaro Cougars basketball squad (Tucson, AZ), was nudged 43-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ)

With the victory, Cactus Shadows advances its record to 20-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to meet the Wolves in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Wolves enter the battle with a record of 31-4. Estrella Foothills won 51-38 in their recent non-league battle against Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ)

The Cougars now own a 21-10 record.
