February 27, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30318 Therrell Panthers (Atlanta, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Therrell moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Hornets in a 2A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-0.
The Astros now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Luella for a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 4. Douglass will meet a Lions team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
