Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge holds off Bishop Ireton
February 28, 2024: St. George, VA 22935 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), saw Blue Ridge's basketball squad hold off Bishop Ireton by a tally of 80-76.
With the victory, Blue Ridge improves its record to 24-10 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 31-2. Paul VI won 90-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Benedictine (Richmond, VA)
