Aquilla Cougars (Aquilla, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Covington Owls (Covington, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Aquilla moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-5. Bruceville-Eddy lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Kerens (Kerens, TX)

The Owls now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Italy for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. Covington will confront a Gladiators squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Itasca (Itasca, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-5.
