Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA), 5-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Churchill County moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Central (El Centro, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 2-0. Central won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Needles (Needles, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fernley for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Needles will confront a Vaqueros squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 1-1.
