The Hidalgo Pirates baseball squad (Hidalgo, TX), 6-4 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX)

With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Vela (Edinburg, TX) to confront the Sabercats in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Sabercats come into the contest with a record of 3-3. Vela lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Crosby (Crosby, TX)

With the defeat, Hidalgo drops to 2-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Robstown (Robstown, TX) to clash with the Cottonpickers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Cottonpickers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Robstown lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Palmview (La Joya, TX)
