The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Madison Highland Prep Heat (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), saw Madison Highland Prep's baseball team gain a win over Highland Prep by a tally of 10-0.

The Heat (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ). The Wranglers enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Wickenburg was overwhelmed by Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ), 6-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Honey Badgers face the Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) in a 3A West battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Highland Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Minotaur enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ).
