The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC) and the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), saw Langtree Charter Academy's baseball team gain a win over North Mecklenburg by a tally of 20-1.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Vikings face the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 3. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Greenwave enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
