The Mallard Creek Mavericks basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 37-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC)

With the victory, Hickory Ridge advances its record to 21-8 on the year. The Ragin' Bulls travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to meet the Mavericks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Mavericks enter the battle with a record of 23-5. Marvin Ridge won 59-50 in their recent non-league battle against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)
