The Bay City Blackcats softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Bandera BULLDOGS to 2 in the Blackcats non-league win on Friday.

The Blackcats now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Bay City will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Bandera moves to 3-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to confront the Rangers in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Rangers come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Terry lost 4-2 in their recent non-league battle against Bay City (Bay City, TX)
