February 3, 2023: Hebbronville, TX 78361 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hebbronville Longhorns (Hebbronville, TX) and the visiting Banquete Bulldogs (Banquete, TX), saw Hebbronville's basketball squad wallop Banquete by a tally of 55-24.
With the victory, Hebbronville improves its record to 10-15 on the campaign. The Longhorns host San Diego (San Diego, TX) to confront the Vaqueros in a 3A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a record of 20-9. San Diego lost 67-59 in their recent league challenge against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys (Falfurrias, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Banquete will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Fightin' Jerseys come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 107-54 league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX).
