In Monday's league test, the Arete Prep CHARGERS (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad got by the visiting Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ), by a score of 63-58.

Next, the CHARGERS clash with the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Arete Prep will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Firebirds come into the test with a 2-14 record after their 87-20 league loss to Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ).
