The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), observed Largo's basketball team overwhelm Crossland by a score of 87-38.

The Lions (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against City College (Baltimore, MD). The Black Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, City College trounced Coppin Academy (Baltimore, MD), 86-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Crossland will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 71-45 league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD).
