Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge triumphant over GVCS Broadfording

February 3, 2025: Hagerstown, MD 21740

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) and the host GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD), observed Mountain Ridge's basketball team overwhelm GVCS Broadfording by a margin of 75-53.

The Miners (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels go into the Appalachian bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Fort Hill crushed Morgantown Christian Academy (Morgantown, WV), 72-54, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, GVCS Broadfording falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Faith Christian Academy (Martinsburg, WV) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-12.
