February 3, 2025: La Quinta, CA 92253 The La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) basketball were winner over the visiting Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA), 67-56 in Monday's league bout.
The Blackhawks now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Shadow Hills for a Desert Empire bout on Wednesday, February 5. La Quinta will play a Knights team coming off a 66-53 league loss to Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-17.
With the loss, Xavier Prep falls to 7-20 on the campaign. The Saints host Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA) to play the Aztecs in a Desert Empire bout on Wednesday, February 5. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 19-8. Palm Desert won 54-46 in their recent league bout against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA)
