North Carolina High School Basketball - North Rowan bests Lexington

The North Rowan Cavaliers basketball team scored 89 points and limited the host Lexington Yellowjackets to 71 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Monday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. North Rowan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-41 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-18.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to battle the Dragons in a 1A/2A Central Carolina contest on Tuesday, February 4. The Dragons go into the contest with a record of 1-18. West Davidson lost 34-23 in their recent league contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
