Virginia High School Basketball - Smithfield victorious over Salem
February 3, 2025: Smithfield, VA 23430 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Smithfield Packers basketball team scored a good 71-57 triumph over the Salem Sundevils.
The Packers (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders go into the Bay Rivers contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Poquoson was toppled by Tabb (Yorktown, VA), 69-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sundevils confront the First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Salem will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 7-11 record after their 73-64 non-league loss to Granby (Norfolk, VA).
