North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Wake Academy triumphant over Woods Charter
February 3, 2025: Chapel Hill, NC 27514 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) and the host Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC), observed Southern Wake Academy's basketball team overwhelm Woods Charter by a margin of 81-35.
The Lions (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against River Mill (Graham, NC). The Jaguars come into the 1A Central Tar Heel challenge with a 2-20 record. In their last challenge, River Mill was trounced by Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 56-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Woods Charter will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Aviators come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 91-12 league loss to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC).
