Virginia High School Basketball - Norcom routs Denbigh
February 3, 2025: Newport News, VA 23608 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Norcom Greyhounds basketball team scored a big 51-16 win over the Denbigh Patriots.
The Greyhounds (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers come into the Eastern contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Churchland was trounced by Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 51-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Denbigh will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 65-19 league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA).
