High School Basketball - Miller School of Albemarle nudges Non Varsity Opponent
February 4, 2024: , Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 82-81 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Miller School of Albemarle upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Mavericks host Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to clash with the Flames in a VISAA Division III bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Eastern Mennonite lost 70-55 in their recent league bout against Carlisle (Axton, VA)
Next up, the clash with the Smoky Valley Home Educators (Salina, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 132-238 season record. The go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ).
