The John Milledge Academy Trojans basketball squad (Milledgeville, GA), was nudged 60-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA)

With the victory, Piedmont Academy advances its record to 5-19 on the year. The Cougars host First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to meet the Vikings in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 battle on Friday, February 7. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-18. First Presbyterian Day lost 70-35 in their recent league battle against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA)

The Trojans now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 battle on Friday, February 7. John Milledge Academy will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 65-54 league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-9.
