Texas High School Basketball - Motley County nips Paducah
February 4, 2025: Matador, TX 79244 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Motley County Matadors (Matador, TX) and the visiting Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX), observed Motley County's basketball team edge Paducah by a margin of 70-66.
The Matadors (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region I District 8 challenge with a 0-18 record. In their last challenge, Spur was tipped by Patton Springs (Afton, TX), 30-20, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Paducah will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 28-2 record after their 85-38 league win over Guthrie (Guthrie, TX).
