In Tuesday's non-league test, the Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) basketball squad got by the host Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE), by a score of 49-42.

Next, the Roughriders encounter the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 6. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 18-1 season record. The Plainsmen come into the test with a 7-11 record after their 51-36 league loss to Maxwell (Maxwell, NE).

The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Haymakers come into the non-league test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Cozad was nipped by Holdrege (Holdrege, NE), 49-23, in a non-league test.
