The Kings Mountain Mountaineers basketball squad (Kings Mountain, NC), was crushed 81-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC)

With the victory, Huss advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Huskies host South Point (Belmont, NC) to meet the Red Raiders in a 3A Big South battle on Friday, February 7. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a record of 15-5. South Point lost 57-56 in their recent league battle against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

The Mountaineers now own a 1-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Gaston for a 3A Big South battle on Friday, February 7. Kings Mountain will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-30 league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-18.
