South Dakota High School Basketball - Jones County knocks off Sully Buttes
February 4, 2025: Murdo, SD 57559 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Jones County Coyotes basketball team scored a good 51-42 win over the Sully Buttes Chargers.
The Coyotes (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Underwood (New Underwood, SD). The Tigers come into the B Region 7 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, New Underwood defeated Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 39-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a B Region 6 contest, on Friday, February 7. Sully Buttes will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Battlers come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 44-27 non-league win over Redfield (Redfield, SD).
