In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Taft Eagles basketball team scored a big 69-4 triumph over the Kelly Trojans.

The Eagles (11-17) will now prepare for their contest against Orr (Chicago, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Orr smashed Northside (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Kelly will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 42-26 non-league loss to Lake View (Chicago, IL).
