South Carolina High School Basketball - Cathedral Academy overwhelms Pinewood Prep
February 4, 2025: Summerville, SC 29483 The Cathedral Academy Generals basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Pinewood Prep Panthers to 29 in the Generals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Generals now have a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Cathedral Academy will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 41-32 non-league win over Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Pinewood Prep falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to confront the Cyclones in a game on Friday, February 7. The Cyclones go into the game with a record of 14-3.
