Virginia High School Basketball - Grove Christian School tops Amelia Academy

February 5, 2024: Amelia Court House, VA 23002

Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grove Christian School upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Richmond Christian (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Warriors in a Virginia Metro bout on Friday, February 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA) in a VISAA Division IV bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Amelia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
