In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Royal Palm Beach Wildcats basketball team scored a close 52-50 triumph over the Dwyer Panthers.

The Wildcats (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Martin County (Stuart, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Martin County nipped Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, FL), 89-61, in a non-league contest.
