Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge bests Fort Hill

The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Fort Hill Sentinels to 52 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Bishop Walsh for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Mountain Ridge will confront a Spartans team coming off a 50-36 non-league win over Hyndman Charter School (Hyndman, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Fort Hill falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to confront the Campers in a Appalachian game on Friday, February 7. The Campers go into the game with a record of 6-9. Allegany lost 58-57 in their recent league game against Northern Garrett (Accident, MD)
