North Carolina High School Basketball - North Pitt triumphant over Perquimans
February 5, 2025: Hertford, NC 27944 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) and the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), observed North Pitt's basketball team overwhelm Perquimans by a score of 69-45.
The Panthers (6-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Washington, NC). The Pam Pack come into the 2A Eastern Plains challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Washington trounced West Craven (Vanceboro, NC), 75-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Four Rivers challenge, on Friday, February 7. Perquimans will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 70-55 league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC).
