California High School Basketball - Southwest EC overwhelmed by Central

The Central Spartans bounced the host Southwest EC Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 56-16 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) in a Southeastern - Imperial Valley outing, on Thursday, February 6. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 7-15 record after their 47-40 league win over Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA).

The Eagles (3-21) will now prepare for their outing against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Hornets come into the Southeastern - Desert outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Calipatria was overwhelmed by Brawley (Brawley, CA), 67-17, in a league outing.
