The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), observed Lake Norman Charter's basketball team overwhelm West Rowan by a score of 55-24.

The Knights (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 16-4 record.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Friday, February 7. West Rowan will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 59-57 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
