In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) basketball squad got by the host Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH), by a count of 51-50.

With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Boardman (Youngstown, OH) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Boardman lost 34-33 in their recent league challenge against Howland (Warren, OH)
