North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Durham crushes Granville Central

Southern Durham Spartans (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC), 77-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southern Durham upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to play the Vikings in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout on Friday, February 9. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 5-11. South Granville won 47-34 in their recent league bout against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Granville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Vipers come into the bout with a 16-1 record after their 60-52 league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, NC).
