The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) and the host Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), observed Asheville School (Independent)'s basketball team knock off Carolina Day by a score of 73-53.

The Blues (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies come into the NCISAA Carolinas challenge with a 21-2 record. In their last challenge, Christ School was knocked off by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 74-67, in a non-league challenge.
