In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars basketball team scored a good 53-33 triumph over the Lakewood Park Christian Panthers.

The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN). The Couriers go into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Clinton Christian topped Andrews Academy (Berrien, MI), 50-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8.
