North Dakota High School Basketball - New Town triumphant over South Prairie/Max
February 6, 2025: New Town, ND 58763 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the New Town Eagles (New Town, ND) and the visiting South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND), observed New Town's basketball team overwhelm South Prairie/Max by a margin of 80-47.
The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Lakers come into the A Region 3 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Des Lacs-Burlington trounced Rugby (Rugby, ND), 76-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the battle the Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. South Prairie/Max will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 64-58 league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND).
