Kentucky High School Basketball - Lyon County triumphant over Caldwell County
February 6, 2025: Eddyville, KY 42038 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY) and the visiting Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), observed Lyon County's basketball team overwhelm Caldwell County by a score of 71-40.
The Lyons (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Hickman County trounced Fulton City (Fulton, KY), 52-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) in a District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Caldwell County will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 64-37 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY).
