Florida High School Basketball - Calvary Chapel Academy can't get by Morningside Academy
February 6, 2025: West Melbourne, FL 32904 Morningside Academy Eagles (Port St. Lucie, FL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles (West Melbourne, FL), 42-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Morningside Academy advances its record to 18-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Merritt Island Christian (Merritt Island, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Merritt Island Christian won 40-36 in their recent non-league bout against St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL)
With the loss, Calvary Chapel Academy falls to 10-8 on the campaign.
