St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Saint Mary's Hall Barons (San Antonio, TX), 79-38 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph Academy upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Bloodhounds travel to St. Augustine (Laredo, TX) to play the Knights in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 23-4. St. Augustine won 56-54 in their recent league bout against TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Barons play the St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Saint Mary's Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 5-22 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 69-56 league loss to St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX).
