The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball crushed the host Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), 60-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Red Tornadoes (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Conference 51 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Statesville was trounced by St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 60-24, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they host St. Stephens for a 3A Conference 51 test on Friday, February 10. Foard will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 60-24 league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Indians record now stands at 16-7.
