South Carolina High School Basketball - Crescent succumbs to Seneca

February 7, 2025: Iva, SC 29655

In Friday's non-league test, the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) basketball squad defeated the host Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC), by a score of 71-52.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Seneca will attempt to improve on its 16-8 season record. The Devildogs come into the test with a 5-18 record after their 77-43 league loss to Daniel (Central, SC).

The Tigers (12-12) will now prepare for their test against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 1 test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Pendleton went down by Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 56-45, in a league test.
